YKLI was founded by parents who saw the need for a specific learning and growth environment for their own sons. They had a vision for a Yeshiva that shared their approach to learning and their concerns about maintaining high overall standards while maintaining a focus on measuring the success of a talmid by his own potential. YKLI has never stepped away from the approach that a Yeshiva is a partnership between Parents and Rebbeim & Teachers, aligned and allied to create a perfect learning environment.
